The provincial leaders and many locals join the Olympic Day Run
Coming in a sequence with the traditional long-distance tournament 2018, in response to Uncle Ho's call on the whole population to do physical exercise, the Olympic Day Run for public health gained a successful and inspirational outcome when many young children were seen running alongside with their parents, creating beautiful images on the race tracks.
By the end of the Olympic Day Run, more than 100 athletes from eight administration units of the province embarked on the marathon competition with a 5km long track for males and 3km for females.
The marathon contest ended with a defended championship for Nam Dong District, while other awards are "divided equally" for the participating teams. This highlights that the professional gap between the teams is being narrowed down, and the physical exercise movement is more and more widespread, contributing to the implementation of the campaign “All the people practice physical training following great Uncle Ho.”
